Český Krumlov
Nice town in the south Bohemia, sometimes called „czech venezia“ because it is beautiful. This lyric plaything of history, architecture and nature too vindicate strong tourist trade. In spirit by many of our neighbors (mainly in Austria and in Bavaria) is this town between most popular places of Bohemia.
We are speaking about Český Krumlov. Major part of czech people know this place well and the story goes, everyone Czech have to in her life visit Prague (capital city of the Czech republic) and... yes - Český Krumlov. View point of this town is the castle - we can it part in two section – “upper castle” and “bottom castle”. It is originally from 14th century, but architectonic is Renaissance. It is caused by rebuilding the castle – it was originally gothic fort. We can say, they made a manor house from gothic castle. Historical centre of the town belongs to UNESCO since 1992, but already in 1962 it was “town landmark reservation”.
For the town are characteristic narrow streets and on many of places is the nightlife like in Prague. Only trams and cars are missing, but it doesn’t matter. By the walk round Krumlov you can see a lot tradition pubs, pensions, hotels, but bars too. Český Krumlov has 14 thousand citizens, but here are the more people – the number of tourist is enormous.
The Town is situated in 492 meters over the world ocean.
Here are also a lot of webcams, because of them is possible watch online the panorama of Krumlov from any place of the world. http://webcam.ckrumlov.cz/
There is a nontraditional theatre, which has got revolving front. There wera a lot of problem about the theatre, but it functionals to this date.
Between very interesting possibility how to enjoy this beautiful place belongs for example ship by the town on the Vltava. In rest and with minimal effort you can enjoy architectonic, nature and general ghost of the place. There are a lot of stories about the town. I think everybody can find here something interesting – culture, fun, bier, friends, landmarks. Český Krumlov doesn’t fail you!
