New American company Solar Roadways plan road with surface from robustly solar cell. The idea is realisable and American ministry of defence has provided 100 000 dollars on its research. Builder of company – Scott Brusaw is convinced his project will mean big change in traffic, energy and in ecology.

If were surface of all ways from solar cells, it produce 3x more energy, then Earth need. It is enough to get 15% effectivity at five hours sun shines per day. Next to power supply of cities with electric energy these roads could provide a lot of benefits.

Horizontally traffic marking would flash direct in surface of road, which would be warming and needn’t to keep up in winter. Receptors on sides of way would watch movement of animals and at it activates alarm when they come. Electric vehicles would charge its batteries at road. Reciprocally connection and belaying system guarantee continual supplies of electric energy event at failure of part of cells after traffic accident or at natural hazards.

Roads could take the function of electric conductors.

Modified glass will be the surface material of these road. This glass has high solidity and good grip with light permeability. High costs (about 10 000 dollars on 15 quad meters) should compensate saving in next sphere. For example cost would be reduced by plants and traffic and ecology would be better.
